As the
Outreach Coordinator, Mary will oversee Green Corps’ donor program, event
planning, and membership outreach. With Green Corps, Mary has worked to stop
global warming with National Environmental Trust and expose the abuses of the
bottled water industry with Corporate Accountability International. During the early primary season, Mary worked
on behalf of Environment America, mobilizing citizen activists to engage
presidential candidates about clean energy in Iowa,
South Carolina, and California.
By bird-dogging the candidates at campaign events and generating
hundreds of phone calls into the candidates’ offices about the need to shift
toward clean and renewable energy sources, Mary helped secure clean energy
pledges from the five leading Democratic candidates and elevated the issue of
clean energy in the presidential race. Mary
graduated from the University
of San Francisco with a
degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Entrepreneurship in
2007.
